A triple bill of unforgettable dance from France and Western Australia.

This very special evening will feature three works:

- French choreographer, Didier Theron is renowned as a cutting-edge maker of provocative danceworks.  His new piece, Harakiri is a highly physical and emotional work centring around the Japanese notion of self-sacrifice.  The Australian premiere of this remarkable work will be performed by six of WA’s most celebrated dancers – Claudia Alessi, Matthew Morris, Sue Peacock, Sete Tele, Aimee Smith and Michael Whaites.  

Chrissie Parrott’s incredible career as a dance artist has spanned four decades.  Now, in a new work written and choreographed by Jo Pollitt, audiences will have a rare chance to see WA’s best-known dancer perform.  Re-Render is part fiction, part memoir – a revealing portrait of one of Perth’s most celebrated women. 

Under the artistic direction of Ivan Cavallari, West Australian Ballet has nurtured the talents of a host of exciting, emerging choreographers.  At the forefront of this wave of talent is Cass Mortimer Eipper, who will present his moving new work Soul Searching.
