Delf Junior PREPARATION COURSES AND EXAMINATIONS



Taking the DELF examination is not only a great way to boost the students' motivation, it also gives them the opportunity to obtain an official French certification valid for life !

The Alliance Française offers a 5 week preparation course for students who which to sit the DELF examination in June. During the course, the students will practice their language skills and benefit from specific training and advice to pass the examination with success.


The course will be taught by a DELF accredited examiner and native French teacher.

3 levels are offered :

A1 (beginner level)

Recommended to students who completed at least 1 year of French and who are able to understand and use familiar everyday expressions, introduce themselves and others and ask and answer questions about personal details such as where they live, people they know and things they have.

classes on Thursdays 4.00-5.30pm, from 7 May to 4 June
Examination on Tuesday 9 June, 4.00pm
price : $260 (includes examination fee : $110)

A2 (elementary level)

Recommended to students who completed 2 to 3 years of French and who can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment), communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.

classes on Wednesdays 4.00-5.30pm, from 6 May to 3 June
Examination on Wednesday 10 June, 4.00pm

B1 (intermediate level)

Recommended to students who completed at least 3 to 4 years of French and who can :

  • understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered at school
  • produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest
  • describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

classes on Tuesdays 4.00-5.30pm, from 5 May to 2 June
Examination on Thursday 11 June, 4.00pm
price : $275 (includes examination fee : $125)

Enrolments for the examination only are also possible. Price of the examination only is $110 for A1 and A2 levels, $125 for B1 and B2 levels
