Understanding the intricacies of more than one language as early as possible is great for children throughout their lives. It will enhance thier creativity and academic achievement as well improve the acceptance of cultural differences.

Initiate your child to discover and learn French with our stimulating courses. At the Alliance Française de Perth, we enhance children's natural ability to learn a language by providing a structured routine that is both dynamic and interactive.

Kids Courses


Quokkas | 18 months - 3yo

This is a 45 minutes playgroup open to toddlers accompanied by a parent to stimulate the ability for languages acquisition through songs, story-time and plays.


Swan | 3-4 years old

This is a 1 hour playgroup in which children will learn French through fun activities such as: arts & crafts, songs, games, sensory experiences and more.


Petit Francos | 5-7 years old

1.5 hour class of fun-filled French classes where students will learn basic French vocabulary, songs and games while participating in hands-on activities.


Francos | 8-11 years old

1.5 hour class following the spiraling curriculum for children with little/no background in French, to learn the language and obtain A1 certification level.


Petites FLAM - Native French Speakers | 5-7 years old

Cette classe suit le programme français de la Grande Section de maternelle et prépare à l’entrée en Cours Préparatoire.


FLAM - Native French Speakers | 8-15 years old

Cette classe permet aux enfants de suivre le programme français dans le but de réintegrer le système scolaire français par la suite.

Teenager Courses


Juniors | 11-15 years old

These courses follow a set progression and focuses on the four core areas: speaking, reading, writing and listening. Students reinforce their grammar, sentence building, and vocabulary in a friendly yet stimulating environment.

Prépa DELF: At the end of the scholar year, there will be the possibility to sit the DELF-Junior, an official diploma recognised and delivered by the French Ministry of Education.


ATAR Y11 - Y12

Work on ATAR units (Year 11-12 ATAR curriculum) with a qualified native speaking teacher and benefit from a small group to get extra speaking practice.

Enhance your grammar and extend your vocabulary to achieve your best results at school and prepare for the ATAR examination.

DELF Prim & Junior



DELF Prim

DELF Prim is intended for children who are beginners in French as a Foreign Language and who are either undertaking studies corresponding to the French elementary level or are the right age to undertake such studies under the regulations applicable in their country.


DELF Junior

DELF junior is a diploma issued by the French Ministry of National Education in recognition of French-language studies. The tests are adapted to the teenage lifestyle and correspond to the interests of teens.
