La semaine du 12 octobre marquera le début de notre quatrième
et dernière session de cours de
l'année. Merci pour votre fidélité tout au long de 2026, une année qui a vu notre offre évoluer pour vous proposer un apprentissage du
français plus diversifié, flexible et moderne.
Que vous soyez débutant ou que vous souhaitiez poursuivre votre apprentissage, enfants, adolescents ou
adultes, nos professeures expertes vous attendent pour ce Term 4 !
Côté culture, le jeudi 1er octobre, nous sommes fiers de lancer notre
collaboration avec
le West Australian Opera autour de Roméo et Juliette, avec son directeur artistique Chris Van Tuinen et la soprano Jessica
Blunt, qui interprétera la valse de Juliette à l'Alliance.
Le jeudi 22 octobre, également à l'Alliance, place
au ballet avec
le documentaire Pointe, Dancing on a Knife's Edge, consacré à Floeur Adler, suivi d'un échange avec la réalisatrice Dawn
Johnson et la danseuse et chorégraphe Claire Voss.
Enfin, le vendredi 30 octobre, nous célébrerons les lauréats des AF Exams lors de notre cérémonie annuelle.
Cette année encore, 35 écoles de WA ont participé à notre concours, et nous les remercions pour leur confiance.

The week of 12 October marks the start of our fourth and
final term of classes
for the year. Thank you for your loyalty throughout 2026, a year in which our course offering has evolved to give you a more diverse,
flexible and modern French learning experience.
Whether you are a beginner or looking to continue your learning, for children, teenagers or adults, our expert teachers look forward to
welcoming you this Term 4!
On the cultural front, on Thursday 1 October we are proud to launch our
collaboration
with West Australian Opera around Roméo et Juliette, with Creative Director Chris Van Tuinen and soprano Jessica Blunt, who will
perform Juliette's Waltz at the Alliance.
On Thursday 22 October, also at the Alliance, ballet
takes centre stage
with the documentary Pointe, Dancing on a Knife's Edge, following Floeur Adler, followed by a conversation with director Dawn
Johnson and dancer and choreographer Claire Voss.
Finally, on Friday 30 October, we will celebrate the AF Exams prize winners at our annual ceremony. Once again this year, 35 WA schools
took part in our competition, and we thank them for their trust.
Our monthly events continue as usual: French film screening,
Book Club, Café
Conversation,
the Art Gallery tour in French and our "Actualités
en français"
workshop for advanced learners, the third edition of which I look forward to hosting on Thursday 15 October.
Looking ahead to November, our traditional Quiz Night will take place on
Saturday 7 November. Whether you come as a team or on your own, surprises and plenty of prizes await, as always!
We look forward to seeing you and to keeping Francophone culture alive in Western Australia!
