Tour de France 2026 - Stage 1

Opening evening and Tour presentation
Saturday 4 July: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
The opening night celebrates the start of the Tour with a focus on Spain, including route highlights, race predictions, live updates, and a festive Spanish cocktail and catering.

The Tour makes history with its first‑ever departure from Barcelona. After welcome remarks from a Representative of Spain and Alexandre Allais, Jethro Gammie‑Nagle will unveil the 2026 route and the key general‑classification contenders.
Guests will lock in their predictions for the Yellow, Green, Polka Dot and White jerseys, sealed until Evening 3, while a live duplex with Tom McCracken will capture the Grand Départ atmosphere from Barcelona.
A Spanish‑themed cocktail reception follows, featuring Spanish catering and red wine, along with a Chapoutier white wine from Roussillon region.
If timing aligns, the Team Time Trial will be shown live; otherwise, guests can enjoy a curated best‑of from the 2025 Tour during the cocktail.
