Our next monthly French Movie Night (with English subtitles) will take place Monday 3rd of August, from 6.15 PM.

If you're learning French, this is the perfect opportunity to practice your listening skills while enjoying a film you've never seen before or one you have, but in French!

If you are already fluent (ou même natif francophone), this is just a nice opportunity to share a friendly evening!

Film:
À toute allure (In the Sub for Love in English) is a 2025 bold and hilarious French romantic comedy. It follows Marco, a carefree steward, and Marianne, a stern submarine officer, whose lives collide after a fleeting shore-leave encounter and get a lot more tangled once he ends up stuck aboard her submarine. This is your chance to catch the film that closed the last edition of the AF French Film Festival!

Synopsis:
Marco (Pio Marmaï), a carefree steward, and Marianne (Eye Haïdara), a disciplined submarine officer, share a brief shore-leave romance. When she accidentally leaves her necklace behind, Marco tries to return it and ends up stuck aboard her submarine with no way out! A laugh-out-loud odd-couple comedy that sails from high seas to the Arctic, proving that even the steadiest course can veer off chart when it comes to love. Directed by Lucas Bernard, À toute allure was the closing film of the Alliance Française French Film Festival 2025.
