Our next monthly French Movie Night (with English subtitles) will take place 2nd of November, from 6.15 PM.

If you're learning French, this is the perfect opportunity to practice your listening skills while enjoying a film you've never seen before or one you have, but in French!

If you are already fluent (ou même natif francophone), this is just a nice opportunity to share a friendly evening!

Film:
Le Répondeur (Guess Who's Calling! in English) is a 2025 charming French comedy. It follows a talented but struggling impersonator hired to become the voice of a famous, reclusive novelist over the phone.

Synopsis:
Baptiste, a gifted impersonator, can't make a living from his art. One day he's hired by Pierre Chozène, a reclusive novelist hounded by calls, to answer his phone in his voice while he finishes his latest book. But little by little, Baptiste doesn't just imitate the writer — he starts to become him. Directed by Fabienne Godet and starring Salif Cissé and Denis Podalydès, this is a warm and inventive romantic comedy, the ideal way to end the year!
