Concert Ingrid Riollot

Come and let yourself be carried away by sweet melodies performed on a classical guitar by Ingrid Riollot, a French international concert performer.  The programme comprises French composers, Australian composers as well as composers from other countries and for whom France or Australia have had a major impact on their musical works. In order to make you discover all the beauty of this multi-faceted instrument, Ingrid will also give you an overview of the great composers who have allowed the instrument to acquire its letters of nobility in the same way as the piano, violin... all embellished musicological explanations are in French and in English.

Ingrid Riollot is an internationally renowned French guitarist and teacher. Graduate from the Lyon Conservatory, she was awarded the "Young Talent" prize, as well as a Master's degree in teaching music. She performs in many festivals as a concert performer and teacher (France - Nancyphonies, Spain - Segovia Festival in Madrid, Switzerland - Coppet, Italy - Milan Festival, China - Shenzhen / Shanghai Festival, Australia - Perth Guitar Society, Hong Kong - International Guitar Festival, Malaysia, Morocco, New Zealand, Peru, Canada, Thailand...). She has been invited to participate on the juries of major international competitions (China, Monaco, France, Albania, Australia...). She is the patron of the Mauritius Guitar Society. Her discography includes four CDs.
