Cooking Class 24 July 2024 - Gâteau Basque

Join Gunnela in the kitchen at Alliance Française on Wednesday, July 24th, to master the art of baking Gâteau Basque and impress your guests!

Gâteau Basque is a traditional dessert from the Basque region in southwestern France, featuring a rum-flavored sweet shortcrust pastry and a filling, typically cherry jam or crème pâtissière.

In this session, we'll focus on the crème pâtissière version.

All ingredients are provided for this two-hour hands-on pastry course.
This is a bilingual class, open to all skill levels.

And of course, you'll get to taste your creation and take some home!
