This class is designed as an introduction to the French language. You’ve chosen to learn French, and your teacher will guide you on a journey of discovery through its rich linguistic and cultural landscape.
Throughout the course, you will explore a variety of essential topics, including:
- The French alphabet,
- Days of the week, and months of the year
- Common greetings and ways to introduce yourself
- Asking for basic information about someone ; nationality, language they speak, name...
- Numbers from 0 to 100
- Asking questions with question words such as ; où, quand, qui
You’ll also delve into key aspects of French grammar, such as conjugating verbs in the present tense, forming questions, negation, understanding gender (masculine/feminine), definite and indefinite articles and more.
By the end of the class, you’ll have a solid foundation in the French language and be well-equipped to continue your studies!
Mon Alter Ego 1 - Dossiers 1 & 2
This course is designed to build on what you've already learned and help you gain more confidence in speaking French.
You’ll deepen your understanding by exploring new topics such as:
- Daily activities (meals, household chores)
- Weather and seasons
- Clothing and accessories
- Cultural and tourist activities
The grammar will cover a variety of important concepts, including:
- New verbs in the present tense (e.g., sortir, partir, dormir)
- Pronominal verbs
- Using il faut + infinitive / the verb devoir to express rules and obligations
- The pronoun y
- The imperative mood
By the end of this course, you’ll be able to navigate a wider range of everyday situations and express yourself with greater ease!
This course will take you on an exciting new journey of discovery as you continue to deepen your understanding of the French language.
In this course, you’ll learn how to talk about:
- Restaurants and dishes, including adverbs to express your opinions (e.g., plutôt, vraiment, super)
- Cinema and how to give your opinion on a film
- Cultural and tourist projects, travel, and exploring landscapes and their features
The grammar will focus on key concepts such as:
- The function and placement of adverbs in a sentence
- Relative pronouns qui and que
- The gerund (le gérondif)
- Conditional sentences with si + imperfect
- Prepositional verbs
By the end of this course, you'll be able to express your opinions on a variety of topics and discuss culture, travel, and personal
preferences with greater fluency!

Welcome to the B1 level! You’ve made impressive progress in French through the previous courses, and now it's time to take your skills to the next level.
In this course, you will explore topics such as:
- Physical and mental health, including medical emergencies
- Various modes of travel
- The arts
The grammar will give you the chance to deepen your understanding of:
- Comparisons and negation
- The relative pronouns où and dont
- The construction il faut que + subjunctive
By the end of this course, you’ll be able to discuss more complex topics with greater fluency and use advanced grammar structures with
confidence!
