Nancy
Annexed by France from the Duchy of Lorraine by Louis XV in 1766, Nancy is now the capital of the Meurthe-et-Moselle département, in the east of France.
Around 105 000 people are currently living in Nancy, making it France's 41st largest city.
The city centre offers a mix of several architecural styles, but is mostly known for its exceptional concentration of Art Nouveau
buildings.
