It's a wrap!

The 37th festival ended on April 15, leaving us with sublime images from France and beyond, fragments of moving stories, characters who were puzzling or touching… A whole range of emotions comes to a close, and a whole world will continue to stay with us in the weeks and months ahead.

So, as with all endings, we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who makes this Festival possible. Yes, it sounds a bit like an Oscars acceptance speech, but after all… it kind of is.

  • Thank you to the Alliance French Film Festival (which we call among ourselves “the national,” with a thick French accent), its president, Frédéric Alliod, and the entire team over East. Thank you for your availability and responsiveness at all hours of the day and night (time difference obliges), for your support, and for how easy it is to communicate with you guys.
  • Thank you to all our local sponsors: we hope we managed to make your brands and products shine with the same glow you cast on this beautiful edition. We already can’t wait to see you again…
  • A heartfelt thank you to our guests who agreed to share their experience and expertise during our Q&As.
  • Thank you to all our volunteers who, dressed in orange this year, lent a hand in serving and preparing our events. Your support goes far beyond the magic your hands worked: we are always happy to see you, to chat, and to take note of your precious advice.
  • Thank you to Lucy Gibson, our PR: thanks Lucy, for your work with the press, your availability, your enthusiasm, and your professionalism. It was a real pleasure to collaborate with you once again!
  • Thank you to Marine Idier, our Cultural and Communication assistant: you were part of the team, but you deserve a special mention for your fresh and curious perspective, your countless skills, and your unshakeable optimism.
  • Finally, and almost most importantly, thank you, viewer, French cinema lover, curious spectator, all-thing-French aficionado: this was all for you from the very beginning, and we have always kept you in mind as we moved forward — from selecting the films to choosing the quiches and the macarons, when crafting our social‑media posts or when carrying cases of wines and booklets.

Finally, we wish to share here with our community some key figures for the 2026 edition.

Thanks again everyone!!! We'll keep you posted when the 38th edition is on the move (which might be soon... shhh).
